Medina Woman Debt Free After Filing Bankruptcy And Recovering Claims From Fraudulent Offers

A 50-year-old woman from Medina, Ohio recently suspected that she needed to file bankruptcy after accruing about $60,000 in debt. The woman, a paralegal in the area, had also received six different offers in the mail from companies offering to settle these unwanted debts. Soon after, she relayed her concerns of receiving these personal offers in the mail to the Cleveland bankruptcy attorneys at Luftman, Heck & Associates.

The Cleveland bankruptcy attorneys with LHA knew these were fraudulent offers, which violated the law and immediately pursued a claim against these companies. Luckily, our client did not go through with any of these offers but upon the insistence of LHA, brought them into our firm. Our client will recover $1,000 per case for bringing these offers to our attention. Not only did she collect about $6,000 from these cases but we were able to erase her nearly $60,000 in debt, essentially saving her home and car. Our client is now free to start over with her finances after successfully filing for bankruptcy.
